Seth Ware was named an Assistant Track & Field coach beginning in the fall of 2015 after spending the previous two seasons at Fremont High School. He is USATF level 2 certified in the sprints, hurdles and relays as well as being a USATF Official.
Coach Ware assumed responsibility for coaching sprints, jumps and hurdles at the start of his fourth year on staff. Ware’s first year overseeing the sprints, jumps and hurdles group saw three athletes garner MIAA individual championships, two earn USTFCCCA All-Region honors, and two earn NCAA All-American honors. Trine women’s sprinters & jumpers were a key part in winning the program’s first MIAA Indoor Championship scoring 59 of the 155.5 pts. Trine sprinters & jumpers also set six program records in their first season with Ware.
During Ware’s first three years at Trine, he was an assistant for the sprints, jumps and hurdle group which produced 30 All-MIAA performers, 14 USTFCCCA All-Region performers, four NCAA qualifiers and two NCAA All-Americans.
As the Head Men’s & Women’s Track & Field Coach at Fremont High School, Ware’s teams produced eight conference champions, seven sectional champions, one regional champion, three state qualifiers, and one All-State performance. Ware's athletes earned accolades in a wide variety of events, ranging from vertical jumps to short sprints and distance.
Originally from Utica, Ohio, Ware attended Utica High School where he competed in cross country, track & field and wrestling. He went on to attend Trine University, where he graduated with a B.S. in computer engineering in 2013. As a collegian, Ware participated in track & field as a javelin thrower.
Ware currently resides in Angola.
