Women's Basketball Fall League
The Trine women's basketball team will host a fall basketball league on for girls in grades 4-12 on Sundays this fall, the team announced Wednesday.
Games will run Sunday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 18. The opening day will be used as a tryout day to to divide players up equally based on ability level. Teams will play twice on each Sunday the rest of the league season. Cost for each player to participate in the five-week league is $125. Returning leauge players and summer campers will receive a $15 discount.
The cost of the league includes the tryout day, skills camp and scrimmage session on Sept. 13, as well as two games on each Sunday for the duration of the league schedule. Each participant will also receive two free tickets to Trine women's basketball home games, a Trine University basketball and a uniform shirt to wear during league games.
All teams will be coached by Trine women's basketball players. Games will consist of two 18-minute halves, with playing time divided equally among all players on the team.
Men's Lacrosse Prospect Clinics and Thunderfest
The Trine men's lacrosse team will once again host a pair of players clinics and a lacrosse tournament this fall, the team announced Tuesday.
The 4th Annual Thunder Lacrosse Prospect Clinics will be held Sunday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 25. Participants will have the opportunity to receive instruction in all phases of the game and participate in scrimmage situations. Cost of the camp is $75, which includes a reversible jersey and lunch. Registration for each camp is limited to the first 50 players.
The team will also once again host Thunderfest on Sunday, Sept. 27. Thunderfest is an 8-vs.-8 tournament that guarantees teams five games in a 16-team field. Rosters can be made up of 15-to-20 players, with the eight players on the field made up of two attackers, three midfielders, two defenders and a goalie. The team fee is $700.
Baseball Holiday Camps
The Trine baseball team has announced dates for its 2015 holiday camps.
The 2015 Holiday Baseball Camps for high school recruits will be held Sunday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Dec. 28. Both camps will be held in Ketner Sports Center and Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic Recreation Center on the campus of Trine University. Campers will receive instruction from the Thunder baseball coaching staff as well as current players. The cost of each camp is $85. Space is limited to the first 28 campers.

The 2015 Holiday Baseball Camp for youth will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29. The camp is open to youth in grades 3-8. The camp is split into two sessions. Session one will focus on infield/outfield work and hitting, while session two will focus on pitching/catching and hitting. The cost of the camp is $25 for a single session or $40 for both.

Last season, Trine produced three all-conference performers. The Thunder had two players honored as conference player of the week. Head coach Greg Perschke has amassed 230 wins in his tenure at the school.
